dr Zofia Skrzypczak
Graduate of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw, she defended her doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw. She was the founder and long-time head of the Center for Health Management at the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw. For many years, she has been a co-organizer of the annual conferences 'Healthcare and Economy.’
She directs the Postgraduate Studies in 'Healthcare Management’ at the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw.
Her scientific interests include healthcare financing (especially private financing), the functioning of the pharmaceutical market (issues of drug reimbursement, scale of private expenditures), and the market for private medical services.
She is the author of numerous scientific publications in the above-mentioned areas, including chapters in monographs published by the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw and Wolters Kluwer, articles in 'Management Issues,’ 'Internal Trade,’ and scientific journals of SGH and the University of Economics in Katowice.
